L’organisation

L’organisation qui est maintenant connue sous le nom de Réseau canadien des organismes de réglementation (RCOR) a été créée en 2003 en tant que fédération d'organismes nationaux dont les membres provinciaux et territoriaux sont chargés de protéger le public par le biais de l'autoréglementation.
Aujourd'hui, le RCOR met en relation les organismes de réglementation provinciaux et nationaux, les organismes d'attribution du droit d'exercer, les organismes d'agrément, les organismes d'examen et les responsables gouvernementaux à tous les échelons du Canada afin de discuter des défis, d'échanger des idées et d'établir les pratiques exemplaires liées à un large éventail d'enjeux pertinents pour les organisations œuvrant dans le domaine de l'autoréglementation des professions.

Pricing (per person): $700 for members and $825 for non-members

Regulatory governance: presented by Beth Deazeley, Registrar and CEO, College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).

Quality practice: Assuring entry and continuing competency presented by Jennifer Slabodkin, Director of Registration and Education, Deputy Registrar, College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents (CPATA).

Professional conduct: Complaints, investigations, discipline and fitness to practice presented by Allan Mak, Investigations Manager, College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

The regulator’s voice: Communications, relationships, and engagement presented by Sarah Choudhury, Director of Strategic Communications and Government Affairs, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Throughout the day, attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in Q & A with presenters and network with each other.
